Privacy policy – your personal information

This privacy policy explains how the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Cyprus, through the Foreign Direct Investment Screening Authority, collects and uses information when you use this electronic service for the submission of a Foreign Direct Investment notification.

We collect the following information from you directly:

  • phone number
  • name and contact details of the investor or representative submitting the notification
  • details relating to the foreign direct investment contained in the submitted Notification Form
  • supporting documents uploaded as part of the application
  • any additional documents voluntarily uploaded by the applicant

• the degree of your satisfaction while using the service
• your opinion and suggestions on how we could improve the service.

Why we use your information

We collect and use this information to process your application.

Without access to this information, we cannot process your application.

If you leave feedback in Help us improve this service, we will use it to evaluate how users feel about their experience using the service. This is so that we can identify and prioritize areas for improvement, and get ideas for new developments.

How your personal information is stored

Your information is stored securely on servers based in Cyprus.

Your rights

• correct or update your personal information
• object to the processing of your personal information
